were the glyphs forum off Friday night?

Now I am having the same issue that some of you are having in that they want me to log in giving my e-mail address, which I don't want to do. This just started today.

Are your pages still loading slow? From where I am, this has noticeably improved this week. I think someone must have complained to management....

Mary, the system seemed to have cleared itself for the last couple of days and was fine first thing (UK time) this morning.
But when I tried to log on at the bottom of the 'red' page 2 pm UK time, which I never had to do previously as the log-on box came up automatically, I STILL couldn't post anything without being asked for name email etc. and all messages were rejected.
After several attempts I got the usual 'Post a Follow-Up' without the extra blurb.
I can see why RP'ers, when short of time, get fed-up.
Who do we write to to complain?

Hey NHB (& UNH-Alum's)! Yeah...I know...it seems odd that NDSU doesn't have Hockey!!! Our rival college, "The UND Fighting Sioux", in Grand Forks ND, has had D-1 Hockey for a loooonng time. Here @ NDSU, there just wasn't enough interest. The Fargodome was built with possible Hockey/Ice-show cooling units in the floor, but it's a huge PITA for conversion, & hasn't been used for ice in some time... I think UND has played you guys many times in Hockey...right? The Sioux have an absolute PALACE for Hockey, gifted to them from Ralph Englestad. He made $$millions in Vegas, & was a Sioux player. It opened in Fall 2001, at a cost then of over $100 million!! Some say it's one of the finest Hockey buildings in the world. It IS pretty extravagant!! The Fargodome almost seems CHEAP in comparison!! It opened in 1992 @ a cost then of ~~ $48 million (~~ $80 million today). The less expensive way into your house, if you have a basement, is to break the glass on one of the basement windows, unlatch and remove the casement window ( most have a provision for lifitng off the hinges ) and climb in. There are a few caveats, however. Pick the right window, the one that where it is possible for you to get in and drop to the floor without hurting yourself or wreaking the sewing machine that was sitting under the window. You have to be able to fit through the window! Don't do it if the drop is too much for you to handle - we don't want to break anything. The other good location is the BACK door to the garage. If it has a window, break it. Its a lot cheaper to repair. However, at my house, entering the garage would not get you into our house. You would find a fire door between the garage and house and that it most often is locked when we leave the house.

Luckily I think it's warm enough here for them to overwinter outside. I would not want them in my house. I mean they're cute in little doses, but they are still crunchy little beetles;).They live for a year. I think that's a long time for a little bug! Socks- What a fun little project! First graders are the best. Still cute like kindergarteners, but not as babyish. They've be on the playground for a year so they've toughened up a little, but still have a sweetness about them. I use to work at a day care for elementary kids, and first graders were my fav;). Krista- I don't blame your bro getting freaked out by falling Ladybugs while he was sleeping. That is definitely not something I would want;).

I have been having a lot of problems getting the threads. Eventually I went off the internet connection and up popped the thread I had tried to get last. Also the others I had marked! I hope this message gets posted as some others have not been. If you don't see me much, I am still here, lurking and trying to make myself heard!

Today, I could log on in the normal fashion, however, the pages are soooooo slow to load. While waiting, I mostly get a white screen that says at bottom: "Done, but with errors on page." I have no idea what that means. And I have noticed that the longer the thread, the slower it is to load. Sigh....;-(
