Friday night Ladybugs

I have been on this forum for about a year or so. Every once in awhile I wonder what my first post will be. Maybe a sick cactus that needs help, an id, or maybe a beautiful Echeveria that I wanted to show off;). I would have never ever thought ladybugs would be my first post.

Once again I purchased a container of these lovely little creatures today. I was curious to see how long they would take to eat an adult meallybug. FYI I truly believe meallybugs are the bane of my existence. Anyways. I have an Orbea variegata that has the case of the meallies. This plant has been sitting in plant quarantine for a month. Every week I go and do the whole q-tip and rubbing alcohol thing, but I keep finding a couple that pop up. Well I decided to get a piece of the Orbea with a meallybug on it, and try to feed it to a ladybug:).

That wonderful little polka dotted bug started eating her dinner in no time:). This truly makes me sooo happy. Well anyways enjoy:).

Sidenote- Sorry about the low quality pictures. I take all my pics on my iPad. I think you guys will get the picture though.

Great now I have Tina Turner stuck in my head;).
