If you have blooms that survived or blooms that opened after the cold snap it would be reasonable to expect some fruit.

I have limited experience with peach, nectarine, and plums on K1. All trees fruited for about 5 yrs after which they were removed for various reasons. Peach is apparently not highly compatible. But I think it's worth a try for the backyard grower. If I were a commercial grower I'd have serious reservations just from what I've heard and the fact that fruit was small. Fruit was high brix. I'm going to have about 50-60 trees on K1 in my greenhouse going forward.

What I don't understand is all the serration on the leaves - neither peaches nor cots have that. I would guess plum cross from those, and the elongated tip has something to do with how the plum genes affect the tip on apricot leaves (they have a little concave tip on them, unlike plum/peach). Yes you can. Different flavor of course but it actually sounds better with the peaches. Dave
