I've recently discovered how much I enjoy the pickle peppers on sandwiches. I would like to learn how to pickle the peppers I grow this year if anyone has seeds they can send me. I have read that the Hot & Sweet Peppers are different then the Hungarian so I would like to try & grow all three varieties. While I wait, I'm on a mission to collect all the canning/jarring equipment to be prepared for the harvest to come! I'm excited to learn more but wait patiently for seeds. Have a look at my list to see if there is anything I have that you would like to exchange.

Here are a few urls i've found to be usefull and/or humorous. As you go on, you'll find variety in your plants is fun. I love my banana plants, figs, and other exotics.If you only go to Home Depot, you'll get basically the same things year after year. One of your best bets might be to become acquainted with your local nuseries. They are usually very happy to recommend local plants. Deer resistance doesn't have to be a big problem. I'm a firm believer in deer netting. It is made almost transparent now days and I love my hostas.Cold hardiness will determine most things, unless you green house or live with the plants in doors. I can't afford the green house, so I overwinter my exotics in the living room. I kinda like it. Well, best o' luck. Why do you want to re-use the liquid? When I change out my reservoir - I put the old water and nutrient mixture in empty water/milk jugs and use that to water my soil-based and container garden. It needs watering anyway...might as well give it any leftover nutrients too. Dave
