I agree with Citrange on this. Way too large a pot, and not a good potting medium. I would search for "511 mix" on our forum for a great container potting medium. Or, if you can find it in your area, Farfad Professional Heavy potting mix (again, search our Forum for "Farfad" to get the best recommendations for this pre-packaged mix). I would do this right away, your little tree is failing rapidly. The good news, is citrus are very resilient, so if you can get this tree potted up in a much smaller pot, about 1/2 the size you currently have it potted in, and in about 2 or 3 weeks, after it has settled down a bit, start fertilizing with DynaGro Foliage Pro, you should start to see a come back. Moisture meters are notoriously inaccurate. Why not double check with your 'digital probes' (fingers) to find out for certain?

I second that John. If this were my tree, I would soak that root ball in water(no fertilzer. When my trees are stressed like this, I have found the best thing to do is to stop feeding them, and keep them in shady spot in your yard. This should help your tree turn around. Once you notice that the leaves have stopped curling, you should be able to put your tree back in full sun. I hope this info is help full and please keep us posted. Andrew

I agree with your guy's recommendations. Minimal fertilizer, epsom salts good for a magnesium boost. I used Southern Ag Citrus Nutritional Spray this year. On everything in the yard. There are other brands I've used in past years. Minor elements, magnesium, manganese, boron, zinc, sulfur, and others. You spray it on vigorously growing young flushes of growth or on deficient looking leaves. Everything loves it! Drench them well. Spring is the best time to do it. Be forewarned, it will stain concrete and house walls, so rinse these areas if you've sprayed it on it.
