I've had my flower beds for 10 years and I'm going to have to google most of what everyone is wanting just to see what they are and what they look like. My top 5 right now is 1. Spuria Irises any color. 2. Oriental Lilies 3. Asiatic Lilies 4. Flowers that bloom until the first frost. 5. Different color day lilies I have no idea the names of the ones I have. I've been trying to put a name to them but so many of them look alike. I am cleaning off my hillside and have black raspberry vines if anyone is interested. I also have Purple Wisteria, old fashioned purple lilac bushes, and a weeping willow tree that I can take starts from get them rooted and send. I don't like taking starts from those unless someone wants them. I've never shipped a plant so I may need some assistance on how the best way is to ship.

Sorry for the delay in my response. I had no idea anyone would express sympathy for my dog dying. Thanks for that. Derek kindly emaled me directly with an offer to send me Pink Muhly in a month or so when his Utah soil eases up a bit. To answer Polly -- I've brought home between 400-500 grasses so far and there are more grasses and MANY perennials to follow. The story goes like this: I bought grasses from a very kind woman on the other side of the city about 9 months ago and when I was visiting her home nursery (not a retail site) I mentioned to her that if she ever was thinking of getting out of the business and wanted a loving home for her many fine plants, she should look me up. She did. She knew I was a grass freak and knew that I had a ton of energy and passion for these and other plants. So here I am today with a serious collection and working on a business plan to bring these wonderful plants into the lives of others. Thanks again for your sympathy.

Katkin Will have to wait awhile for the trade as the white I bought,though large almost 5 feet with 3 foot leaves has no offsets but it does have aerial roots. Have never seen th ose before but then I've never seen one this large lol. Wish it were in flower then I could be sure that it is the white. The vendor knew that there are two white species T. nivea and T integrifolia but couldn't tell me how to tell the difference lol From the sheer size of it I suspect it is T.nivea. Lenette There are several hybrids but don't think any are registered with names?? The gray with green is attractive but what is more "exotic" than a black flower?? A lady in Malaysia sent me a pic. of an unidentified Tacca lining the driveway that was taller than the palm trees !!lol Have heard of these but have never seen one. If you google the genus Tacca you find that there are over 25 species ranging from Madagascar to SE Asia into tropical Australia. Obviously with that much range there would be a lot of variation. Have always been curious as to the function of the "whiskers" I would guess a way for the pollinator to get up to the flower??. Got another bit of info that there is a "variagated form has white borders on the leaves.!! Refuse to look for that can't imagine what the price would be lol gary
