Bon voyage Mr & Mrs Finbar!!! Hope your Italian friends and neighbours enjoy having one of their own tomatoes brought back home, and grow it from here on, plus some of the others you take with you.

If I go to Sydney you won't be there

Hi I have finally taken a photo, sorry it's dark (end of the day). I copy/paste my former comment. I had to delete it because I couldn't add the photo : Camellia, my variegated Blue Bird is not growing anymore, it seems dormant and looks exactly the same. We had an exceptionnal heat wave for 2 weeks with temps over +35°c and some plants didn't like it (the less rooted ones, the smallest ones and/or the more variegated ones). As Legolas and variegated Gollum keep growing (very slowly), I conclude that my variegated Blue Bird is not rooted enough to face the heat. It should grow again with the first rains of september or october.

I think you need to leave the radiator as is or it will be a mess. How about pistachio for a paint choice, one with some yellow in it? For fun, I consider painting the interior recessed panels of the door black/charcoal. What I might do is paint the entire door pistachio and then get some peel-stick wallpaper in black or charcoal to see if I liked the efffect of having black panels and only paint if I did like it. Maybe just the bottom 2. Or if you are talented, paint the raised outline of the panels black (the interior recessed wood would be pistachio) --- or: how about just the inner line of the woodwork around the recessed panels, which would mimic the funny dark line design in the upper tiles? I think the effect somebody was hoping for was Pugliese sandy beach and aqua seas. Where is the house?
