Ok, first tomatoes don't climb anything on their own. They have no grasping tendrils. They (indeterminate or vining types) will run along the ground or need to be caged or tied to stakes of some kind. Snow peas, depending on the variety, when planted closely usually don't need anything to climb except each other. However some taller varieties will benefit from a 3' tall piece of fencing, or some pea netting, even some dead branches stuck into the ground among them as long as it runs the length of the row. They don't do stakes or tripods or arbors all that well on their own. True climbing vegetables like vining varieties of cucumbers, pole beans, and some melons and squash usually need a very tall support of 6' or higher. Cattle panels work well and so do tall arbors and/or tripods depending on how you plant the seeds around the support structure. Hope this helps. Dave

Lala - the pink rose you circled in the pic is 'Climbing American Beauty' (which is a seedling, NOT a sport of 'American Beauty', and not related to 'Miss American Beauty'. Cl American Beauty (1909) is once blooming, but it blooms very prolifically for a month or so, and then there is scattered bloom for more months on new growth. HMF says it is hardy to zone 5, as it is a Wichurana hybrid. Vaporvac - in Elaine's first pic, the purple rose is Kim Rupert's 'Lauren', and the peach colored rose is Peach Drift (this one is a tree rose which Lauren is eating!). Given that most people on this forum are based in the USA it might be best for you to ask locally for suggestions. With your climate I’m sure there are lots of choices, many of them highly scented. The old hybrid musk , Lavender Lassie , is vigorous, prolific, and very fragrant. It has medium sized blooms. Does very well own root. own root plant I agree with KS Little Rock that your climbers are likely to get better in a few more years. Climbers can put more energy into growing roots at first and some might not even bloom at all till better established. From pics it looks like Pretty In Pink Eden can be prolific and I know Zepherine can be.
