Thank you, now I am really on trouble, it is the second dearest there.
I didn't realise there were so many beautiful daylilies as I just have a few of the "ordinary" ones and a couple of doubles.
Now, where will I plant them and will it keep raining so the dam stays full enough to water extras.
I guess the rose garden will be filled.

Marrion, I don't think I'd do that. Because the DL's will have to be divided periodically, you'll be disturbing the roses' roots.

The one on the page that really caught my eye turned out to be the only one that was more expensive than yours. lol

As the daylilies are divided in winter (or at least that's when I do it) is there any real harm, unless the daylily is planted right on top of the rose? Roses cope very well with being transplanted at that time of year, and bounce back very quickly. I wouldn't think a little digging near their roots in winter would bother them?

Jan I've got 3 roses that now have rootstock coming up through them, after I dug to remove invading plants. I have done 'all' the instuctions to removing the rootstock growth, to little avail. I agree with Pam, put the DL's where other plants won't mind if you dig around them, come lifting time.
