Good luck with all of them...I have to say even though I have pugged several mango trees and have done it often...even for me, every time I have to pug one of my trees its always nerve racking,lol...you always feel like there's a chance it won't bounce back or take forever to see new growths (especially in potted plants) they recover much slower...its a very drastic thing to do but once they start growing...you can see the wait and apprehension is well worth it for the overall shape and size you're trying to achieve...Good luck to you!! In California that would be a very healthy Manila Mango. IF purple it could be Valencia Pride. Two of the most common here. Where you are,anything that can take high humidity grows like a weed!

It's not ripe yet, although it has red/orange color which started 2 weeks ago. I think it could be ready to be picked by maybe mid to late August. I couldn't wait for that day to come since this is the first time I will taste the fruit. I do have another mango tree same age in container but no signs of flower, ever. I hate to kill it. Also, I have started to do a cleft graft 3 weeks ago, and now have a grafted tree from this fruiting tree. So I'm hoping the fruit is what I hope for.

Far too soon to tell anything. Plant it in a pot. Keep it warm and moist. Forget it for a few weeks. What have you done to it so far? What is this 'germination process' you've started? When I've grown them I've done it as above.
