Hi Marion you are doing the right things for your area, just make sure that those leaves get
disposed of in the bin I usually put mine in plastic bags before and let them cook in the sun.
The booklet that came with all my new roses suggested spraying with Triforine at 7-10 day
intervals during spring and right through to autumn.

And after the very high humidity we have had the past few days I will start spraying mine soon too.
It's also a is a good idea to spray your roses with lime sulpher after pruning as that helps as well.
I dont suppose it will hurt moving the infected plants but it is a air born problem,
So they all might get it...Cheers...MM

Milk in a 1 is to 7 mix with water will deal with powdery mildew anywhere in Oz. Its cheap and coats the leaves beautifully.

Yes Triforine is great and its relly important to seperate them because it is very contagious.

Sorry for the delay, we have been busy here organising a day with 100 visitors and cooking Damper and corn meat and billy tea.

My Roses got a spray of Triforine in amongst gathering wood for the fires and so forth.

They are looking better but a bit stripped where I pulled off the infected leaves.

The milk spray sounds interesting as I don't like using too many poisons round the place.

Milk ere too. Works perfectly. the weather's been condusive to it, but healthy plants and some milk fixes it easy.
