Yes, that is a bit confusing, as it seems to end abruptly in midsentence. But if Susan meant that she was looking for a yellow or blue flowering bleeding heart, Dicentra or Lamprocapnos species, then sadly she's going to be looking a long time. They don't come in those colors. But their distant cousins the Corydalis do and share similar growing conditions so may be a possible alternate choice for the bleeding hearts.

Thanks for the update. I did not feel up to much of anything on Sunday, just a little yard work, where it was not too soggy. Transplanting ajuga into wet ground. I have a lot of pain days due to recent knee surgery. I bought a Crimson Fans mukdenia last summer! It never had the fall color I was hoping for, but maybe that was because it was new. But still, it survived the winter in a bed where a lot died (lack of snow cover, I believe, or too much rain) . It was up earlier than almost anything else, and looks great.

A lot of these come from Asian sellers and they are all fairy tale plants :-) If these wildly colored varieties really did exist, do you not think you could find seeds for them locally? Or started plants at your local nursery? Blue strawberries - and all the other fantasy colored vegetables and flowers - simply do not exist and that is pretty darn easy to confirm if one takes the time to do some basic research........ There are also some recent threads that have discussed these seed scams. Jack Seeds is one of the biggest culprits and the web is full of complaints from duped customers. And even Etsy has been known to have unscrupulous purveyors on their site as well. Caveat emptor - buyer beware!!

Heruga, You’re nice to help the residents, they must appreciate that! I purchased 3 more dicentra ‘alba’ this year, they have lovely pure white flowers. I also love the dicentra ‘valentine’ on which the flowers tend toward red rather than the clear pink. All are lovely! I have a golden foliage one, very pretty but it catches my eye, making me feel like it’s fall all summer long. (Our main fall color is gold). My problem isn’t that the dicentra turn brown (due to my cool climate, they stay green), rather they get terribly floppy and that’s why I’m moving them to deeper shade, we don’t have maples but lots of birch. i like calling them lady’s locket, doubt I’ll ever get used to lamprocapnos
