Literary ,Cinematic and Real-life Libraries

Having just read through the insightful "organized shelves" thread, I began to think about all the libraries I have "enjoyed" in books, movies and real life.

There's that fabulous early setting in Shadow of the Wind, and The Thirteenth Tale had a good one, too.

Then, in movies, as was mentioned in the other thread, the library in My Fair Lady was one to salivate over. I like Mr. Bennet's library in Pride and Prejudice - it looked lived in and comfortable.

As for the real ones I've seen, nothing compares to the Long Room (or Long Hall) at Trinity College in Dublin. I was privileged to take a student group there a few years ago, and still can barely believe the incredible sight. Breathtaking.

Well, there's a start. What fabulous libraries have you enjoyed?
