the best orange and yellow bi-color roses
Comments (19)Kate, I think your middle rose is a Chihuly. I thought I posted with some pics here a couple days ago, but I don't see my post??? I'll try again. I think Chihuky is just lovely, even though I don't relly like ornage roses, neither do i care for bi-colors. But this one is a beauty, and all the guys here love it, so it stays. Pretty clean and vigorous in its first year, too....See MoreBest black spot resistant yellow rose
Comments (24)Hey, I live in Monmouth, Oregon near the state capital, Salem. Currently, I have Julia Child, Elina, and Easy Going. Initially, I was told that Elina does not like wet weather, but I persisted and she does get some bs, but I am able to control it. It is more of a pale, pale yellow almost cream colored. Has no fragrance but the blooms are large and last a while. I have a Veteran's Honor and make bouquets with the two as the blooms are a similar size and last a long time in the vase. Julia Child is wonderful. Very little disease, lovely fragrant (spicy) blooms and 3 to 4 feet tall. A very good yellow. After getting Livin' Easy and loving it, I decided to get its sport, Easy Going, and have been very happy with it. It is also disease resistant, medium fragrance, nice rich color. Stay away from Sunsprite, horrible disease magnet and the blooms blow in one day. Julia Child seems to fit the bill. Bon Appetit! CJ...See MoreBest unfading pink rose and yellow rose
Comments (22)Hi Sue I'm trying to think of a pink that doesn't fade in Melbourne, but there are few. Probably Flamingo and Queen Elizabeth are closest, but both grow very tall in my garden. The Childrens Rose is a pale pink to begin with, but doesn't fade. Gertrude Jeckyll doesn't fade and has a great perfume, but she''s not to everyone's taste. Gold Bunny and Friesia are very popular yellows here, but I can't vouch for their colourfastness. All those are readily available in Eastern Australia. Isn't our limited range of roses a pain?
