The Nordman Seedless Nagami kumquat I don't have any bud wood for so that won't be coming out this spring/summer. The other types and allot others should have been out but I'm way behind on my budding here since I can't find any help that truly knows how to do things. I have over 10,000 rootstock that will be getting budded and should be ready as liners this summer

Yes! I ordered a fireplace insert thing that uses STEAM -- and we couldn't have chosen better. Don't remember the name, but we ordered it from Target. When the steam comes out it looks exactly like smoke. There are fake logs and orange lighting and we love it!. I decided that we really didn't need to see both sides of the fire at once, so I made black curtains to hang on the back side, making the two sided look (from the front) like a one sided. We just ignore the back side and it looks great.

I tested samples today...so fun! At the top of my current favorite list is Butterfield and October Sky. I have a question for you, Lori A. Sawaya, specifically on the Butterfield color, and I'm hoping you can help me out. I have had several not-so-fun experiences with yellow paint tonals in the past. For whatever reason the same paint can look entirely different from room to room, or even on an adjoining wall. I'm not talking about normal variations of shade due to light play/shadowing. Rather, it's as if a totally different yellow color was used. In fact, on the exterior of our home I chose a rich gold tone for our trim. I had to come up with 3-4 formulations in order to get the color to match on all four sides of our home. I've seen the same thing with other homes too--and when I spot it, the house is always yellow. Can you explain why this is happening? And do I run the same risk if I choose to go with the Butterfield option? Thanks so much for your time!
