It's probably just a little whacked out from the last few cold winters. There are so many variables to consider it's not worth going into them all and quite boring. But(-; Sometimes stresses like cold,root damage,crown damage whatever, can throw the palms seasonal cycle off,so some palms will actually try to seed when the crown is dead and others will put their stored carbs to work regrowing new leaves.... sometimes they will do both but out of their normal rhythm!

The fronds do not look like they are deficient. They fall without any yellowing. The only color issue is the light shade of green for all of the fronds. It seems like they are not maturing enough to turn dark green. Anyhow, I will try some additional treatments, as I have used the same fertilizer for the duration I have had the tree and there may be something lacking. Thanks,

Palms may have up to 5 or 6 spears unopened, but they were put up one at a time. Usually there is a "quantum leap" needed - either heat or moisture to get them to open. I can have spears on my Chambeyronia or Kentiopsis sit all winter, then open up once the rain comes. You shouldn't see more than one spear open up at a time unless the palm is a clumper.

Hi. I am in Australia & am having the same problem with 2 Kentia's & a Solitair Palm. Mine are outside so I don't think that you have a sunlight problem, the Kentia's come from Lord Howe Island and therefore have to put up with wind & sunlight in their natural enviroment, but reading one of my palm books it says that they like shade till they get a bit taller & sun-hardened. In warm climates they prefer "some shading from the hot sun & drying winds". It also says "indoors, however, the better the light, the better growth will be. Feed occasionally with a complete palnt food, particularly when the plant is making new growth". Maybe I will take the books advise & fertilise mine as I am now in Summer. A landscape gardener said to spray in the trunk if you see aphids, but it didn't help with stopping the fronds from opening too early. Hope this helps abit.
