A great service and secateur story

I wanted to share this story with people because I am so impressed with the service I got. I must emphasise that I am NOT connected with these companies in any way. I'm just so happy with the outcome that I want to share it, particularly if anyone else out there has a disability - this might be a solution for you too.

I have severe and permanent damage to my hand, wrist and arm. Pruning my roses is very painful. I'd heard that Felco makes secateurs that are easier to use so I emailed them yesterday for advice; sure enough, they replied promptly and recommended the Felco12. I found a supplier on the web - www.forestrytools.com.au - and ordered a pair at 4:30 yesterday afternoon. And would you believe it, they arrived by Express Post at 9:30 this morning.

How good is that? From go to wo, it was less than 24 hours between thinking about it and receiving them. I received lovely, polite emails back and forth from both. And yes I have just spent an hour pruning and I'm still well enough to be able to type this, which is a big deal for me.

Like I said, I have no affiliation with these companies. I just wanted to pass it on. If you have hand troubles, these are worth looking into. And it's a great story, I think so anyway, of how easy things have become now we can use the Internet.

Glad to hear you are happy with them and it is helpful to you. I believe that is a good brand and you can also buy parts for them if necessary. I have a friend with hand trouble, so I will pass on your story on to her.

Good going, Bumblebeez! That's awesome customer service! I think you will be pleased with your sandals. I've had good luck with the several pair of Clarks that I've owned. Just got two more for this summer. They are really comfy. Also bought a pair of leather, never been worn, Clark "nun shoes" (black, lace-up oxfords) 15 years ago at a consignment store for $5.00 and I just tossed them last week. When my kids were young, I took loads of photos. I put many in albums and labelled them. Example: "Baby Lucy's First Year" "1989 to June 1990". I wrote names on the backs of photos before putting them in albums. I think my glorious system stopped about 1995. Since then, unfortunately, I've just jammed photos and negatives in a box, hoping "someday" I'll have time to really organize them. I would never wtrite "Just me" on a photo. I'm trying not to leave the next generation a mess after I die. By the way, I plan on living forever. It's working so far. . .

I've become very good at bringing my reusable bags to the grocery store by just leaving them sitting on my front passenger seat. I never go into the grocery store without them now. However I rarely take them into the drugstore or other non-grocery store because I'm just not in the habit. I need to do better at that. I also think I need a couple smaller plastic bag equivalent size to use for those purchases of smaller items when you have too many to just carry out without a bag. I do however reuse the plastic ones (that don't fall apart with first use) as a receptacle for sifted cat litter - placed in a covered pail and used until full then they get tied up and put in the garbage. It is just too gross smelling to not put your cat box stuff in a sealed plastic bag. If I didn't get a few from the store I'd be buying plastic waste can liners for this purpose.

That's great to hear that.
We don't seem to hear about the good Service some Companies provide only the bad.
I will say that Mail Order on line is very fast, I ordered my first digital camera from Sydney late one afternoon and it arrived just after 9am the next morning also.
