Diane nj, the Love grandiflora does get BS and loses a few leaves, but does not defoliate too much, and still keeps blooming. If no HTs, what would you recommend? Thank you everyone for your replies and suggestions. I'm hoping for a rainy day so I can research those roses with which I'm not familiar. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who has had a problem with apricot roses fading to pink. Some don't even have the decency to fade, they just go straight from apricot buds to pink flowers. I think I'll order a Brass Band on Magic Pete's recommendation, I'm not expecting it to climb, just be a shrub near Crepuscule. As for a climber, Barbara B, are you able to tell me something about Woburn Abbey's desease resistance? I've read about Oranges and Lemons but never seen a picture, it does sound lovely and a bit different, is yours still flowering now Kevarose? Thank you again, I'll let you know how I get on.

Another suggestion is Folklore which is a tall & healthy grower. The colour is orange with a yellow reverse to the petals and reasonable perfume from my memory. I have just bought a bare rooted one having left my beauty behind in a move. Good luck!

Hi, I think it is a deffinate for Peace, gold medal has a more rounded petal and the other two arn't in the running. Remember though there are a few cultivars of Peace I would like to see if the colour fades in the center of the open bloom, the out side pink ish colouring is consistant with some of the Peace strains.
