MM, they are beautiful roses - I love them and I think you have inspired me to grow a rose. I have always been put off with roses.....need the right soil, black spot, too hot, too cold, etc etc...but I think it's time I stopped being a scarredy cat and tried my hand with at least one...

Lynnie if you are just going to grow A Rose, may I suggest "Seduction" and get a Standard.
They grow very well here, a lot of my Roses dont and they are all resting at present except a few.
And Seduction is one, it just goes on and on repeat flowering. This Pic is about 2 months old.
And they all suffer from Black Spot at times and need spraying in the humid weather.
I will e-mail you my list with the roses that are best for growing in our climate....MM.

your Seduction standard looks great MM...hope mine will look as good. It's only been in the ground for a few months, and the flowers look kind of small and pale.

Oh well, back to the feeding, Seasol-ing etc :-)

Lovely to both shapes of the roses, my mum's westerland goes almost pink in the summer.

Hi Everbody Please dont think that my roses look like this all the time believe me they dont.
Queensland weather is not very kind to roses so a lot of those pics are the first Spring Flowers.

They have got it wrong there, as they are two of my best bush growers: About Q.E no the flowers they are gone in 2-3 days.

MM your pics. of your roses are lovely,the Wesrterland one is nice & bright, also I like the Julia's rose I have one but it is new & I think I have to move it as I forgot the tree near it is disiduos & I forgot the shade it makes,your Olympic Gold is just beautiful
