Thanks all for the comments. One of the reasons I picked this one was for the eye on it. Very distinctive and hopefully will make some nice babies in the future. Its color is different from Luddy's pics on his website which shows a lighter coloration. The description of it is orange cream tone which is near to what the eye sees and not the lighter color displayed on his website. I also have CANYON COLORS(bloomed already this season) PURPLE CROWN FAIRY AND MESOZOIC MUNCH (has scaped and hopefully will see the flower this season). Julia

thanks, alot of people have been asking what to do when they get hostas this time of year and we are due for some frosts next week - if you believe the news. I was going to post more about how i watered them but didn't - it took the longest time of the whole project. needless to say they are saturated. also someone will be watering them while i am gone I am thinking about starting a thread about the multiple small hostas you sometimes get instead of one larger plant. I really think they should be planted separate. Think it is worth a new thread?

No pics, Roselee, but there is water still standing at my house. I am hopeful that it will be dry enough in spots for me to go about my daily chores.....I get so far behind when I cannot do them on a daily basis.

Shook Hill is similar so you can get the feel of Stone Creek from its sister house. mfowler has a ton of photos and links to both these homes. Are you thinking of building this? We are just starting construction on a modified (slightly smaller) Shook Hill. The online photos really help in making decisions.
