Those are beautiful. The dark blue water in that pool looks almost surreal. I love the pics of the birds :) I have a funny story about animal tracks. There are bunny tracts up to a rose I had a cutting of that had leafed out. The bunny nipped that rose and headed for the next one. Apparently bunny didn't see the cat hanging right there. There is this crazy flurry of cat and bunny tracks all over the place before bunny made it's way back to the field next to my house. According the the prints the cat gave up and walked off. I was ticked about the rose cutting and felt the flush of sweet revenge that bunny got a good scare!

I need to wrap presents too, Jeanne, but keep putting it off. I hate wrapping as I'm not good at it. Gift bags and tissue paper are my choice, LOL. Oh, I started this new post with pictures instead of loading Oak's thread about Jan. decor. But be sure to keep an eye on both for new pix and new comments, Christmas will be over all too soon and it'll be back to the Battle of the Bins! Sighing. Deeply. And I really, really need to pack with more organization and remember some red things should be left handy for Valentines, Memorial Day, July 4th. And pink for Spring, Easter, or Valentines. I somehow keep forgetting and pack it all up and put it in the shed. Make notes, make notes, make notes, and get a "keeper" as I badly need one. LOL hugs, Karen

Ah,yes,I remember my 1st 38 yrs. in NE OH & SW PA. I remember, as a kid, my dad getting an icicle hitting his hand requiring stitches. I remember black ice, SHOVELING, sliding through stop signs, tires frozen to the pavement. I've been in the south for 20 yrs. and it would take about an act of God for me to move north again. It was (unusually & WAY above normal) 82 here yesterday (but a cold front came in & knocked us back down to a below normal high of 58 today.) And it sure doesn't feel like Christmas. I LOVE the pics. I miss how pretty it is with snow and ice. But I sure don't miss slipping in the driveway and wrenching my back. Y'all are a HARDY bunch! I've wimped out. Hope ds4 wasn't hurt.
