Can I grow Geraniums from seed? How?

Collect the seeds before the 'cranesbill' part curls back and expels the seeds, but after the pod is dry. The timing can be tricky. Store the seeds in a cool, dry place. Chill or freeze seed for 4-6 weeks to help break their dormancy. Sow the seeds 1/2" deep and keep moist. Most varieties will
bloom the second year from seed.
