Bat the Cat in the bedroom curtains

I've been busy for the past several months working on fixing up a rental duplex that we own. The previous tenant moved out, and we started some minor touch-ups, patching the walls and painting, and decided to replace the sheet vinyl in the kitchen. Upon removing the vinyl, we found that the plywood floor and sub-floor were soaked, delaminated, and rotting due to a plumbing leak. We had to remove the entire floor and sub-floor in the kitchen, dining room and bathroom, and of course to remove the sub-floor, you have to remove everything that sits on the subfloor: Cabinets, toilet, bathtub, even the bottom of drywall and walls in that area.

We decided that as long as we were doing that much work, we should try to get more rent for it, but to do that we'd have to make it nicer which would then require more work.

We are now almost finished with the work which was almost entirely DIY, and the transformation is pretty striking.

Wow, I love the pictures today......

Bob, that transformation is unbelievable....Wonderful job....

We used to have puzzles going but our furbabies liked to lay on the chairs and would reach their paws up and pull the pieces down....Cute little buggers!

Bat the Cat looks like he's having fun...Our newest, Baby Girl loves the bathroom and thinks the tub belongs to her...She also doesn't like the shower curtain to be closed...Hubby forgot to completely shut the door while taking a shower and Baby Girl ran through the bath room and made a leaping jump for the shower curtain....Scared the begeevers out of hubby and more or less shredded the curtain....Like I said, cute little buggers.......

Bob, that looks great!

Bob.....that's fantastic!

I'm absolutely positive it'll help the rent price!
