This is a view of Las Vegas from atop Lone Mountain, which is in Northwest Las Vegas. DH climbed it on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Not me! Just past the rock formation in the foreground is nothing but homes.

12 hours in the car, condo for a week, tickets to Disney World - Pricey. Playing in the water - Priceless! LOL!!!

Alisande, the yellow stuff under the sprouts is a vegetable of some kind. You see it used often in bento boxes and other Japanese meals.

Diana, it was *very* delicious, or as the Japanese would say "oishii".

Those reborns just fascinate me. I didn't know they were a kit. I may pick one up some day after I retire and give it a try. Don't worry, I do understand that is quite a process and takes incredible artist skill to make one look like yours. Especially the hair.
