I love that statue. Always had to visit Peter when we went to Bowring Park and look for specific items on the base. Karen, did you know that the caribou statue in the park has five replicas in Belgium and France to honor Newfoundland and Labrador war dead? We visited them all while living over there, a truly magnificent sight.

Just a couple of days ago A hot air balloon landed right across the street from me. It sort-of looks like a pumpkin, except for the color, (and maybe the shape)

Not to be out ballooned by bob......These hot air balloons landed in my lap over a period of 3 days. Yes, it is puzzle time again. Just finished an hour ago.. another rainy day.

Last year my grandkids went to the Y in their neighborhood and this is the pumpkin my grandson decorated.

I didn't see this 'til today. Ours is about 9 acres. The one across the street from us is huge about (270 acres) and the one across the other street from us where the balloon landed is about 110 acres.
Most of the 270 acre property is under a conservation easement and although it was recently sold, I think that aside from the existing historic house, and the carriage house w/ apartment, the barn with living quarters, and the three cottages only one additional residential structure is allowed to be built on the property. So we're pretty lucky.
