gazania your yard is absolutely beautiful it does look like a really nice park. I can not imagine how much work it takes to keep it looking so beautiful. What a delight it would be to be able to look out the window and see that.

thanks Nita and ravencajun. It is a lot of work in the spring. DH has developed a way of dong the edging around the beds ( he would quickly tell you that there are 18 of them to go around) that is very easy to maintain for the growing season. I pick around the beds as much as I can on a daily basis. I am really not able to do as much as it needs and things on close up inspection does show it.

Raven, those pictures were taken from a room in the back of the house that has windows all 3 out side walls. It allows a good view of the back yard for bird watching, etc.

Gazania your yard just begs for a comfortable lawn chair, and me in it, reading a book and drinking iced tea! Gorgeous.
