9 years agolast modified: 9 years agoTree roots had grown into the base of the birdbath and busted it. Removing the broken pieces and replacing the new base took DH the whole afternoon with implements of mass destruction.

9 years agoI never think to photograph my ferns in a shady bed. Excuse the weeds as I haven't had time to get back to this area since early spring. First one is an Autumn Fern; second one is a new Japanese Painted fern I think last years drought got some of the older ones.
And this is just a native fern I transplanted or that came up here, can't recall.
