Hahaha, Alexa!! I know, I'm the expert 'nema-phobe' on here, but I'm not the 'expert' at treating them. What 'omoelegba' just posted sounds like a good alternative to just tossing the offending plant--or nema-victim!! Pietre, also has had some very good success of his own. I hope he'll come on and give his advice on the subject! I'm so sorry, 'omoelegba' that you had the misfortune to buy from that person, as well!!! I wish there were a way to go back on ebay, even a year after a purchase and give a fair 'critique' of what you've been sold!!! There's no way to prevent hosta-folk from falling victim to this woman, who KNOWS what she is doing by selling her hosta. Right now--or as of a few days ago, she is trying to sell a HUGE division of hosta for $80!! Just imagine what she's passing on to the poor soul who thinks they are getting a great deal!!! FUME!!! I just hate 'deception' and 'dishonesty' and making a buck in such devious ways!! Good grief!!! I will say, I did the hot-bath treatment, as commonly prescribed, to a hosta I purchased that turned up infested, and while it looked like 'carp' that season, it did put out new growth the following year, but I decided it just wasn't worth the risk and tossed it! I should have kept it as a measure of success but it was a 'Blue Cadet' and I figured I could easily get my hands on another someday!! It was 'one of those days' when I was in a reckless mood--I can't bring myself to get rid of the most common hosta--I plant them in remote areas of my yard and let them fend for themselves--live or die on their own--but at least it's not 'hosta-homicide' as was the case with that poor 'cadet'!! Good luck, kristi--I KNOW how you're feeling!!!! Slump!!

It reminded me of Katrina when many people were brought to Houston. If they didn't move you, I don't know who would. There were so many volunteered to help that the Red Cross had to send them home. Clothes were piled up so fast that many had to be boxed up and saved for other needs in the future. While helping these people, I had a couple stopped me and thank me for smiling. I was puzzled. They further explained that for days, their world was surrounded by glooming sights. It was even on people faces. A simple smile to them was hope. Seriously, I never thought of that way before. I made a point to smile all day long. I tell you, my mouth was almost stuck at that position.

(((alisande))) Here, I'll make it the third one? Maybe. I was driving home the other day, and I had a blowout! Not just a flat tire. We heard BANG! and I said, what was that? He said maybe we ran over a rock? And then the car started to try to swerve. I did keep control and then I heard it--a flat tire. As I pulled over, it was smoking! Smelled like burned rubber to me, and it practically welded the tire to the axle?! What's worse? I just got the car in July (used, it's 18 years old) and I hadn't checked the spare to make sure it fit and was in good shape :O The equipment to change the tire didn't really fit or work well :( The jack would only turn a half turn at a time. The tire iron was too long? It kept hitting the ground. What was cool though? Someone else had fixed a flat in the exact same spot, and accidentally left a tire iron-that fit my bolts. I had another shorter tire iron, but it too, did not fit. So it took three tire irons, a lot of turning for the jack, and holding my breath for the tire to work. Yep, the tire turned out ok. I had planned to buy new tires next month, but now, I will have new tires this weekend. Two more days instead of two more weeks... hurray! Back to normal then. Whew. Now, we don't need a third car incident. How's that for closing the loop? Well, I tried!

Mich, I've seen that in the stores and wondered about it. Some detergents don't have enzymes, I stear clear most of the time, however not every load is tragic, so not every load needs enzymes. If there's not a bunch of stains and the clothes just have the normal dust and body oils, that bottle of All probably does a nice job on darks and colors. I'm a powder fan but lately I've been enjoying some liquids, lol. Actually I have found liquids without enzymes make my sheets feel very smooth, I've been using a new boutique one I've run across, I'm not sure yet though if its the lack of enzymes or because its a liquid, but they do feel better I'll send a pic of it in a sec.
