veel......Yes, that's what they are. I've got 4 pots of them. Had them for maybe 15 years now.....:0) I give the little bulbs to anyone who asks......never had them get any bigger than what you see here. The others are begonias. A stem can be rooted in water, they're THAT easy! :0) And they bloom!!!

Pic taken from my porch across my very busy road. That doe and her 2 fawns cross that road daily causing some real heart stopping moments. They come out of the woods over there, nibble around that apple tree then cross the road into my yard to browse around and check the bird feeder. Then they disappear into the woods behind me.

susanwv, that is Blue Eyed Grass, a wildflower. Would you believe, that tiny little flower is a member of the Iris family! Here are 2 of the 14 stations of the cross located in a hidden woodland setting near Erie, PA. There is nothing to indicate that they are there. My sister lives very near to them.

OT- @ caseynfld - My son was in St. John's for the weekend and on Friday did an Iceberg tour. He saw 2 of them but also said that the waves were pretty big producing a pretty rough tour with some people getting seasick. He also went to Cape Spear and to where Terry Fox started his across Canada run. He also mentioned how far away Newfoundland is, but then we live in Vancouver. :) I'm looking forward to seeing his pictures but won't seem them until the weekend.
