Jemdandy, that bug looks pretty sad now... it has been there for a long long time. I used to stop and take timer pictures with me under it, or with a whole group of friends under and around it. I saw it last Friday, when I rode my bike from Pauls Valley back to OKC, after taking the train south. Had a terrific tailwind back.

janey_alabama. I have seen at least 40 of Peter Toths "Trail of the Whispering Giants" in person. I don't think that is a Toth carving in your pic. At least in my years of following his work, I have never seen anything like it attributed to him. Here is a few of his other carvings/sculptures honoring the American Indian.
