I've got a picture similar to your puzzle gazania. From one of the few hunts I was able to make it to this year. For the ornamental grasses, I've found that if I take a hedge trimmer to them I can cut them down in about 1 minute. Much easier than using a hand clippers.

When I lived in the Dallas house we had a roadrunner that was enamored with me or my dogs or cats not sure which but every day it would come to the pool patio and tap tap on the window, they went to the floor, and it would keep doing that till I came over and talked to it. Then it started bringing me treats, grasshoppers, other bugs etcetc. It would leave them right at the window where I could see it. It was always hanging out around the pool but never in it, it would get on the waterfall and drink. I loved that bird!

Windflowers, the only one I have left this year....seems the voles have eaten the rest after 8 years of leaving them alone.

Hi Jasdip, What - you need more pictures of snow? Did anyone ever tell you that you have a quirky personality? That said ... winter did spoil us somewhat, this year, with all of that "spring-like" weather, part way through. o j
