Very cool, Casey. When I went back and really studied it, I realized that it is the depth of field (I think) that gives it that look. It's really quite stunning. So beautiful in it's simplicity and I love the softness of the background. Just sayin' LOL

Casey, I agree with Murraysmom, that photo is stunning. You should enlarge it and frame it. The color, tones and composition are very beautiful.

No, this was on Galveston Island just a few weeks ago when we were there for Christmas. In places there were 100's of them washed up. Sue kept warning us to be careful, apparently the stingers can still be extremely painful even after they have died.

Beautiful Casey! I look at a lot of photos taken by many people on the internet and this photo is the first one that I would love to have on my walls. Unfortunately I don't have any wall space left. But it is stunning ... plus I love pictures of old posts.
