It's a close up picture and I can't get a sense of the plant overall, but could it be purple sage? Is it very silvery, and are the flowers about 1/2" to 1" across? How tall is it?

Just a guess....hope someone else chimes in, too.

This looks a little like Leptospermum (maybe rotundifolia) also called New Zealand Tea Bush.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what the plant looks like, someone I work sent the picture to me to see if I knew what it was, it just popped up and he wasn't sure if it was a weed or something worth keeping. I give him your suggestions and let him research it.
