He was napping on my bed across the house. How did he even know the room was open? What was his thought process — “I like this bed, but I’m going to move to that other one because I can”.

Ah yes. Interlocious Notmycatious. Very invasive. Starts out as a weed, and you're thinking this is not supposed to be here, was not in my landscaping plans. However it's insidious and emits something, and the next thing you know you're buying it Feed-N-Grow and encouraging it to establish. 🤣

Growing up on the farm, we had many of these "weeds". My Mom used to water them with powdered milk. Hungriest damn things.... ;-)

Strangely, Mom was so fond of an older stray "Mama" that blew into our farm! She had part of an ear/leaf missing. This one was particularly gentle. One day, Mom discovered it curled-up in her clothespin pail!! She was outside to hang up clothes, reached into the bucket & felt something soft. We had to take a picture of it. Probably one of my favorite pictures from my younger days!!

Kitty has to nap approve all new spaces. Anything put down or spread out on a horizontal surface is a cat magnet — newspaper, just washed sweater atop towels, new rug…. I bet kitty would even try napping on a spread out pizza dough.
