I would say it's a reddish orange.. like the crayola colors; it's what I'm seeing on my monitor.

I would call it "cerise." What rose is it?

It's hard to tell what it REALLY is, because browsers and cameras vary so much.
As I see it, it could be anywhere from light red to a deep orangey tone.
Is this 'Red Radiance'??? If so, it would be a light red.

my grandaughter was showing me how to use my new computer,we went to the side of the garage and took a picture to see if we could post it.The name of the rose I do not know.

Some flower colors just don't reproduce well.

On my computer, I'm calling this baby "Lipstick Red" in color! Whatever it is, it's a lovely rose if you like red flowers. My taste tends more to pastels, but as we all know "variety is the spice of life".

There is too much yellow in the picture. You can tell because the leaves aren't green... When I color corrected the photo the rose was cerise.

Decobug, on my Mac G5, the leaves look quite green and the red is perfectly cerise already.

I agree Michael.. I'm on a Mac too, leaves are green.

And the leaves, on my monitor, in Firefox, are a nice medium-green.

On my computer, no yellow or orange tones are coming through, and the leaves are a rich, full green.

I'd call the bloom color "cherry red." Very close to the color of a Knock Out rose (though this one obviously is not one of those).

guys, LOL! my vote goes to roselovr's crayola red! I think crayola red is darn close... Dublinbay, lol! that's no cherry red, hee-hee... I always think of cherries as that fresh cherry natural fruit color....unless of course you wanna call it maraschino! or how about "cinnamon red-hot" (like the ones gradeschool kids eat)....I know, I know I'm being silly, somebody slap me, heheh, but that red is like super bright on my monitor....

My daughter has been telling me I'm color blind for years now, and it must be true, because I swear that thing is screaming pink. I believe the rest of you, however, so I'm nulling my own vote!

An aside, on my monitor, with Firefox, the Crayola colours Periwinkle (Vinca minor) and Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) look nothing like the real thing in my garden! Is it my computer or are the American varieties of these flowers different from those on this side of the pond? Or is it Crayola's representation of the colours that's funny? Perhaps they the makers have never seen the living flowers.
