Nope. Haven't even put the tree up yet. Having a really hard time 'getting into it'. I promised myself THIS WEEK.

Yes!! Pretty much finished....this weekend I'll do the stocking stuffers and that'll be it...that's always the hard part for me! I hate shopping for stocking stuffers. You either spend a small fortune to fill them or end up buying useless junk to cut the cost. The grandkids are easy..it's the big kids I fret over!

I have all of my shopping done ... however ... I don't have a tree up and haven't even started my Christmas cards. Just wrapped up three weeks of 14-18 hour work days at the office.

Yep, cards are out, presents are bought and wrapped, Christmas cookie dough made, rolled out and frozen-waiting to be baked. I'm all set!

Since we are going to Florida (left home yesterday) I had to have everything done. Luckily I didn't have to do any decorating or I wouldn't have made it.

I'm decorated to the hilt, cards out, baking done and some gifts bought and wrapped.

I still have a full week to get what needs to be bought...

I am pretty much done as my husband does the shopping for the most part. I don't see what our kids get until they open them. They will be collectible coins though. I have to get something for my Mother in the nursing home. For the stockings, everyone pitches in and brings things and adds to the stockings on Christmas Day, so I don't have all of that to do. We have 11 stockings this year plus the pets. That was the girls idea some years back. I have to start on the food though and get some ready and frozen.

Shopping is done, as I shop all year. Cards are sent, packages mailed and received. Now I have to get some fleece and start making two blankets. Greatgrandchild #5 arrived yesterday and #6 will arrive in February, so "Gigi" (GreatGrandma....me ) needs to make blankets for them.

The shopping is done. Cards out (except one that I still need to write a letter for). Tree is decorated. Half of the gifts are wrapped... other half maybe today.

Even with all that, I feel really behind and unorganized. I usually am completely ready a couple weeks before Christmas.

Yep my gift shopping is done. Walked into WalMart, pulled six gift cards off the rack, put them in individual card holders - and that's Christmas. Ugh. That's what everyone wanted, not my favorite kind of Christmas gift shopping. Sigh.

I am done! House is decorated, cards have been sent and I am off all next week and am looking forward to spending the first couple of days baking. I made pillow cases for everyong and am using them as gift bags so I didn't have to wrap anything which is fine by me since I hate wrapping presents.
I am however still waiting on a box that UPS lost to either be found or the replacement package to be delivered!

Christmas gets easier as the grandkids get older...they want gift cards so they can get what they want... That is so fine with me..I can't tell you ..Wonderful.. The 3 year old twin grandkids , I will shop for them. They are easy and fun to shop for.I will be spending Christmas day at my daughters home. That is where all my children will gather..so this year all in all is an easy one. I put up a little tree..lights are on outside the house.. love it!!
Next week I make calzones and some stuffed mushrooms etc. fun things to make and take with me. Countdown to spring begins day after Christmas...That is what is so cool about living in New England.

Yep...I am all ready. Presents are bought and wrapped and under the tree. Picked up the rest of the stocking stuffers the other day. House is decorated. Cards are out. Cookie dough is ready to be baked with my little one one night this week after school. If I didn't get everything ready early this year, it just might not have gotten done lol.

I finished today, but still have to wrap everything.

Had mine made/purchased before Thanksgiving and wrapped that week. Also cards mailed by Dec. 1. Early even for me. Put the tree up yesterday morning @ 1 AM (couldn't sleep so figured I might as well accomplish something!) Since my mom hardly boils water - let alone cooks - without putting on an apron, I made her a reversible apron w/ holiday print last week. She doesn't have a holiday one; not a gift, just a little something extra I'll take to her next week. I'll bake cookies for big family dinner before I drive to the farm as I don't like Mama's oven. Have made peanut brittle & bon bons. May make a couple more batches of PNB 'just because'....won't take 30 minutes (excluding cleanup). But anything I *have* to do is done!!!

You don't know how glad I am to see I'm not the only one lagging this year. I've decided the cards will be sent--next year! I got the %#!# tree up and finally got all the lights to light. I sure didn't have much Christmas spirit left when I was done. Then I wrapped the California kids gifts and boxed them up ready to ship out tomorrow. At this late date, they'll have to go the expensive way, but that's my own fault. Took the Florida kids gifts with me to Thanksgiving while we were down there and DHarry and I bought two new TV's as our Christmas. So the shopping is over, anyway.

I haven't baked anything yet or made candies. We really don't need it, but I do want to make pecan brittle and Mexican wedding cookies.

I know we'll all make it through the next week and everything will turn out wonderful. It's just this week that's a bummer!!

All the gifts are bought, wrapped and sent (except my flakey sister in Scotland who still hasn't given me an address!). Tree and most of the decorations are done, thanks mostly to my son Aaron who loves to put it up. When he's not around it doesn't happen! I feel pretty Christmassy, really. Kind of unusual for me. Happy Holidays everyone!!!

I was really late this year, don't think I realized just how late it was. I don't even have all my Christmas cards made out and sent. Took Lauren to the mall this weekend (twice) we gave up on even trying Saturday as it was jammed packed all around the mall area and no parking anywhere. Went back earlier on Sunday and had no problems. Got her some clothes that I just let her pick out. I gave up trying to find something that fit her and then wrapping them up, only for them to not fit.

Most of what I got was on-line but I waited till nearly the last minute and most of it is shipping right at the last minute. I did manage to find a little kitchenette for a child we're buying for at work, stupid me saw an ad in the paper early last week. I waited till the end of the week to go looking for it at Wal-Mart, of course, it was no where in sight and now can't even find it on-line, so Saturday I bought another one on-line. Expected to arrive between the 18th and 22nd and guess what? It showed up tonight! Wow, I'm impressed.

Bought a Christmas tree at Amazon the same night and wasn't expecting to be able to put it up this year, but it came yesterday. Talk about fast. It's beautiful too. So glad I don't have to prop up my old tree with magazines anymore. lol.

The stuff is now trickling in the mail and I have to start wrapping before I go to work on Friday...I know they kids will be snooping.

I have a few things to get, we don't do much personally. I did finally get my boss' family done, at least I think we are. . .unless he changes his mind.

and better still it's all wrapped! well i havn't one last thing for dh that's coming fed-ex and don't know when that wil be...and i don't know if i can wrap it...(a thing to fit on the ladder)

now ask if all the cards are done??? thanks to dh, i just got his office list...grrr

My kids in NYC have their gifts on the way.....DD is getting not a lot this year and I still have to make her some kitchen curtains. I got the measurements today so will go them tomorrow.
I have almost all my baking done.
DH and I got each other a new roof for our house. It will be our gifts to each other throughout the year, I bet.
