Braydyray: You are a generous person with a very selfish 'friend'. I do understand people who don't want to toil forever in their yards. I am one of them. I hate pulling weeds. So I paid my neighbors grandson to spend a few hours pulling them this past week. Best $25 I've spent this summer. The point is, I PAID someone to do this. I would never let a friend come to help me out and watch them slave while I did nothing. Dinner, flowers, some token of gratitude should have been shown to you. One of my neighbors cut back a few of my bushes (she knows where to cut them back, I just hack away), for me while I was gone for a weekend. Upon my return, I saw the work she had done. I asked her to let me pay her (she does not have any money). She refused; so I bought her a gift certificate for a pedicure. She's a runner, and loves pedicures after running 5 miles a day. It was a gesture to say 'thanks for what you do for me'. Your friend places no value on what you do. This is NOT a friend, as I am sure you know by now. Wish you were my neighbor, though!

Wow! I'm glad my fibro isn't that bad yet! I have found lately that if I take magnesium when I am really achy that it has helped. I have a friend in MI who, even with experimental drugs, is in pain every day. She has been thru all the conventional treatments and they did no go. This one helps her, but doesn't completely stop her pain. She told me to do my research, but not on the drug company sites. And it's nice to see you here Jae!

Well........this may take forever since i just lost 2 long paragraphs! thanks for thinking about me and to Lydia for the heads-up about this post. i try to keep up with reading but it's usually too frustrating to try and reply one-handed......and my left hand at that! the typos and mistakes i make drive me nuts! Anyway....i am still kicking (with my left leg, lol.) i am going to therapy twice a week and am trying to get into an in-patient program either in East Tn near my home or in Atlanta. it will all come down to whether my insurance will pay or not. my goal is to move back to my house asap, with hired help 24/7 of course. March 12 will make a year since my aneurysm and i'm ready to move on in a big way! in the time since i left the hospital in late July, i have gained about 90% of my left arm, maybe 20%of my right. same vwith the legs and i can stand up with help. my therapist likes to make me "walk" down the parallel bars.. she moves my right leg and i move the left. strength and endurance are primary targets. i got a motorized wheelchair a few months ago (thanks BCBS.$24,000!!) that has given me lots of independence around the house. my son and his family continue to put up with me.......... so, that is about it for now. i will hit "submit" before i lose this again! Also, to Linda.....got your card and would love to do lunch sometime. i will call you when it looks like someone vcan drive me somewhere! Julie 9

For anyone who is concerned about their spelling...a couple of thoughts: 1. Please click on the link before and download the free version of "iespell"...which you can use each time you create a message...or in any other venue where you want to check your spelling. It's a wonderful tool...and not at all invasive. 2. Anyone who complains about spelling errors in this age of texting...must really be looking for something to complain about. LOL Or...they haven't had the opportunity to [try to] read "text" messages that seem to control an active age group these days. Lordy! Lordy! Anyone who can survive that mode of communication has no basis for criticizing anyone's spelling. Beyond all this...it's so nice to see all the genuine fellowship expressed in this thread. It truly epitomizes "Merry Christmas". Anne Here is a link that might be useful: IE Spell Check
