There are SO many missing here at the KT for one reason or another. I wish I could remember more.

I had hoped Jae would start posting again once her health improved.

I still owe Charlee a phone call. I did put a letter in her Xmas card. She seemed like she might be interested in the KT get-together at Sandy's this year.

What ever happened to Dave in LA and his beautiful pictures.
I was also thinking of Janice.....I think that was her name.....she and Dave had a close relationship for a while.
And JoMo who made the cute little mice. Has anyone heard from her?

I got an email from Jae once after all that happened...It wasn't so much the health factor as being made fun of the way she typed and spelled when she tried to come back...She was trying her best. She was very hurt to say the least.

I wish she'd come back too. but I don't blame her.

I wonder what happened to tallysue. She lived in NY and used to post fairly regularly on here and other forums.

I guess like in real life, people come in and out of our lives. Makes me sad, though.

Ginger hasn't posted here at the KT for over 6 years, so I would imagine she isn't coming back. She happily posts on the recipe forum.
Remember Sandy OH, and her friend Leslie. They opened their own board. What ever happened to Murphy? She was a joy.

I think it would be wonderful to add a chair for Dirty_Fingernails. She was such an inspiration & fighter to the very end.

And, I had now idea that Jae was treated so badly. What a shame to have to go thru a stroke & then be ridiculed for it. I had no idea that had happened. We are generally a compassionate group, so that is dissappointing to hear. I hope we can coax her back.

And nanatricia, don't ever worry about spelling. I used to be VERY careful about that, & these days I just don't sweat the small stuff--just not worth it. Don't worry about the spelling or grammar police. If I can get my point across, that's all that matters.

Some kind of a tribute for all our furbabies is a good idea. We really had a rough patch for awhile there. I have 20 year old kitty that I know his time is coming, so he gets lots of cuddles & gentle hugs from me. Even at his age, he will always be my baby.

We have lost some remarkable people on this board over the years...Jodi's site is a wonderful tribute and yes DF sure needs to be on there...

Has anyone here checked to see how little Griff is doing? that little fellow sure captured all our hearts...

OMGOSH! I forgot about Murphy! Loved that gal..her wit and posts made me laugh..daily.
Made several attempts to track Tiger down-to no avail. Last I knew-she bought a different home somewhere (assuming it's still in the area) and she & her estranged DH were part time seeing each other. I met her on the hgtv home dec board back in '97..when I was in PA. I moved down here shortly after that & Tiger came to my wedding...miss her!
Janice H and I were fairly close-spent a weekend w/her in Atlantic City, where her mom lived. Gambled, ate & fun time just chatting in our hotel room. VERY hard working lady. I know she moved up to either Del. or MD..and loved it up there-she & the kids fishing, water activities, etc. LOL-all I can think of was how she was always outside chopping wood for the winter seasons!

I don't think Jae/Tn was treated badly. It was Ellen ( redclaygirl) I wish we knew who the scumbag was that treated her the way they did,

I sent Julie a Thanksgiving Greeting and she sent me a reply Nov26th.

Nanatricia, I agree with katclaws that you shouldn't let poor spelling stop you from participating. However, if it really bothers you, you can type your messages in a Word or WordPerfect document and run spell check on them. Then copy and past them into the KT message box. I do that a lot when I'm concerned about how something is spelled. It's quicker than the dictionary.

For anyone who is concerned about their spelling...a couple of thoughts:

1. Please click on the link before and download the free version of "iespell"...which you can use each time you create a message...or in any other venue where you want to check your spelling. It's a wonderful tool...and not at all invasive.

2. Anyone who complains about spelling errors in this age of texting...must really be looking for something to complain about. LOL Or...they haven't had the opportunity to [try to] read "text" messages that seem to control an active age group these days. Lordy! Lordy! Anyone who can survive that mode of communication has no basis for criticizing anyone's spelling.

Beyond all this...it's so nice to see all the genuine fellowship expressed in this thread. It truly epitomizes "Merry Christmas".

I don't post as much as I used to, but i do read a lot of posts. I noticed JoMo;s name a few times lately. A lot of the older ones aren't on much anymore.Do love my KT friends and miss them.
