Comments (8)I love playing with recipes :) Thanks for posting these. What I did: 1 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup unprocessed wheat bran 3/4 cup whole oats 2/3 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Combine dry ingredients 2 bananas, mashed 1/3 cup sour cream 1/4 cup veg oil 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs, beaten Mixed wet ingredients. Added dry ingredients, mixed well. I added 3/4 cups fine chopped walnuts, spooned into greased muffin tins, sprinkled some more chopped nuts on top of batter. Comments (5)Try Glenda's banana bread - it's moist and delicious! Glenda's Sour Cream Banana Bread 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup oil 2 eggs 1 cup mashed bananas (2 medium) 1/2 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour bottom only of a 9 X 5 loaf pan. In large bowl, beat together sugar and oil. Add eggs, bananas, sour cream and vanilla, blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off. Add flour, baking soda and salt, stir just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350F for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
