Question about the Bookworm game

My question is: When does it end? I'm at Level 13 with 163,000+ points. How many levels are there?

Thanks! And thanks (I think) to whomever got me hooked on this game. :-)

I'm now on Level 14 with over 200,000 points. I have no idea if this is a good score or not, but I feel as though this game is going to go on forever. Addicted or not, I'm going to bed! :-)

To be extra safe once you download the .exe for the game file go to the location you stored it and do not open it yet, first right click on the .exe and chose to scan it with your virus scanner from the list, that will do a direct scan on that file to see if it is clean. If you have malware scanners that have that option it is a good idea to scan the file with them also. I use McAfee site advisor, which can be added to your browser, it will tell you valuable information about websites and if they are safe to visit. You can get it free for both IE and firefox. Raven, I only I get to PopCapGames, but there is no PopCDrun.exe. I do believe the problem is related to what I did trying to do the Confiker thing. Using the info in Security Garden I found this: File Sharing This article is intended for people who use a computer that is part of a network or for people who have a single computer that has more than one user account. I am not in any kind of workgroup, etc. so I assumed I didn't need to change anything. Disable Autorun: I read that to refer only to Thumb drives, etc. I don't have any, so didn't follow through with that info. Is there any hope for me? :-) Sue

Sorry about not checking back sooner. Many thanks to everyone for your answers. I had entered the website's name in Google, kudzu9 - but not the word "scam" along with it. Of course what came back to me was all the wonderful stuff written by the website itself. Thank you for supplying the missing link, kudzu9. Looks like I shall be installing WOT. Thank you EmmaR and owbist (And I will be spam checking for a while.) Now for some worry-free playing.

The new Gameboy is called Nintendo DS and it comes out on Nov. 21. The DS stands for Dual Screen. It has better graphics and a stylus (pen) for drawing on the screen. It will play the Gameboy advanced as well as the DS games. The retail price will be $149. The graphics are supposed to be as good or better than on the Nintendo 64. You might also want to check, because I think there might be some way to connect the Gameboys and the Gamecube's to make them be able to use each others stuff. If you intend to get both a Gameboy and a larger one, this might make the Gamecube more appealing than the PS2.

I just lost at 1.2 million points - in the action mode - I can't remember what level it was - but it was in the 30's. I don't know that you ever finish.

Did you know you can click on the worm to shuffle the tiles if you get in a bind and can't make word? You get a bunch of burning tiles when you do it though.

I once played it to almost 10 million points! The levels are endless, as far as I can figure. My current game is at 1,462,000 (Level 32) and I just started it yesterday.

A big point-getter is the bonus word. In the beginning of the game, it isn't worth much, but its value increases dramatically each time you get the word.

Also, I bought Bookworm, so I can make longer words--which translates to higher scores.

I plead Guilty to mentioning Bookworm on the favorite games thread. Don't hate me, Susan! I knew there were some other addicts here though.

I never get scores as high as some of you do, but my DD does. She sent me this a couple weeks ago:

We both bought the disk. I took mine off of the computer this summer because I was staying up too late just to play. I'll be putting it back on after Christmas.

Level 47??? Yikes!! At the moment I wish the game ended at Level 15 (because that's the one I'm on). :-)

Thanks, Sue. At least Bookworm doesn't disturb my nervous system the way Ricochet Kills 2 does.

It doesn't end, it just keeps going and going. I used to play a lot but got tired of it. Now I am hooked on Boggle on the iPad.
