Was wondering if anyone else liked this comedian.

We love him!!!!!!!! I haven't caught any of his shows on TV, but have watched some clips on YouTube!

Je-fa-fa?

If you haven't heard of him, he's a ventriloquiest/ comedian. We catch him on comedy central often.

Oh, yeah, DH and I think he's hysterical. My 15 y/o watches with us. We record shows from TV and let the 12 y/o watch some of it (some adult content, more with some characters than others). We all think he's very funny.

So I just went to see his website for the first time. There is a talking Walter doll that would make a great gift for my DH. I never know what to get him that would just surprise him and be fun, that would do it.

There are good body bag roses and there are some bad ones. At all costs, avoid the grade 1.5 altogether, even if they are three dollars a bag. OTOH, I have been successful with grade 1 body bags from Home Depot. This year I bought two Julia Childs, two Whispers, one climbing Serape and one Wild Blue Yonder. When I opened the bags, I was shocked at how strong the root systems were. Even though the canes are smaller than most #1 bare roots that I have bought in the past, the strong root systems more than made up for this. I soaked all of them in water for about three days. Then I potted them up and misted them twice a day until they start to break dormancy. They are doing great now, with beautiful new bud eyes and top growth. They will be transferred into the ground in a couple of weeks. If you don't want to gamble with your hard earned money, I do not recommend body bags. They seem to need a bit more attention than the normal bare roots that you would get from Regan's Nursery or your local nurseries. Rose, Plain old Slug-Go has always taken care of my pillbugs and sow bugs, and we have literally thousands of them in/under the heavy mulch in late winter/early spring. When I plant seedlings, I put a little ring of a few granules of it around each seedling...it doesn't take much. This year I didn't lose a single vegetable seedling of any kind to pill bugs or sow bugs. However, I did lose about a dozen small marigold plants to the pill bugs during a rainy spell from the end of April to mid-May when it was raining daily and I did not keep reapplying the Slug-Go. I'll add that Slug-Go is supposed to remain effective even after rain, but my garden is on a fairly steep slope, so I think mine my wash away or at least leach out of the raised beds and wash dow into the paths, so I repply it often in rainy periods. There is an improved version of Slug-Go called Slug-Go Plus that is labeled for use on pillbugs and sowbugs. It has the iron phosphate that's found in the original plus Spinosad, which is a naturally occurring bioinsecticide. I've used it, too, and it has kept the numbers of pill bugs and sow bugs manageable. They never completely go away, but I seldom see damage from any of them. In general, they are only a pest in my garden and landscape during the rainy spring season. We are very dry here....generally in drought.....most of the summer months and their population probably mostly abandons our garden and landscape for the cooler, more moist woodlands that sit to our house's west, north and south. Pure food-grade diatomaceous earth is not easy to find in stores, and I think it is getting harder to find because some companies are now carrying a DE product that has a chemical insecticide added to it and some retailers carry that instead of the natural, organic version. I used to buy it in big tubs (the size of Tidy Cat buckets) when I lived in Texas, but can't find it here in OK. So, I mail order it from an online company. I order 5 or 10 lbs. at a time and it lasts forever. I've linked below the company from which I have purchased DE in the past. I've been very happy with this company. Rhonda, thank you so much for being our new director! You did an awesome job and gave us a wonderful swap. :) I'm having a great time today planting all the wonderful stuff I came home with! (Well, not ALL of it...it's going to take a while to get all that monkey grass in!) I really hated that we missed Kathy's presentation...if there was ever one I'd have liked to hear, that was it. :( But Mom was needed to help set up a master gardener event yesterday afternoon, and I admit the cold got the best of me. I'm excited about the pavilion next time! I must have also missed the request for donations. Let me know if you need some $$. BTW, my email at home seems to be working again :)

Glad to see an update; I've been thinking about you for the last few days & was going to bump the post tonight. As far as getting into Jeff- they can probably see her next week if you call tomorrow. We got right in without calling in favors. I would make the appointment- cancer doesn't stop growing because she's not sure of where to go. He is the BEST!
My dear Uncle Gene told me about him and we've watched him on Comedy Central. Gene has a DVD of him too, I can't think of which one though. DS loves him, DH is not too impressed with him....???? probably because we all say Walter reminds us of him! Really he does, Walter IS my DH.

His Christmas "special" is hilarious! We watched it a few weeks back on probably Comedy Central...maybe TNT or whatever that channel is.
We love him too..my 16 yr old watches him on YouTube all the time.

We love him too. I gathered all the kid friendly clips on YouTube for my kids to see, they are 13 and 11. I'll have to check out the Christmas DVD.

Yes! We took the girls to see him live at one of his shows. He was hilarious! I love guitar guy too. I signed up for his e-mails to see when he is around our area again. NancyLouise

The reason I asked is because he has a myspace page. If you check out his wifes page, her song is hysterical. And she has the Peanut wallpaper. Does any one know if that song is on the cd?

He is coming to NC in May. $42.00 a ticket.
