Christmas will be too late. I need someone NOW to help split up overgrown pots of tropicals and they can haul the largest portions home, plus some I'm discarding completely. Not to mention the Cannas and Alocasias, etc. which are on the verge of splitting their pots although they may can wait until spring since they die back soon. I never thought I'd say it but I don't need or want anything garden related for Christmas. Am I the only one still with new pots and bags of potting soil, not to mention 20 unopened packets of seed and several unread gardening books ... 'fess up now. I've even still got plants still in nursery pots...including a Dwarf Pomegranate that has 3 tiny fruits slowly ripening. I do intend to get these repotted before cold weather. I think I'm just in the doldrums today, though...once I get this all done I'll feel better, if not by Christmas, surely by January when the new catalogs arrive...lol josh

I would definitely request a functioning remote thermometer. I have one but it never seems to read when the main control is inside. I think maybe it's too far away. And I'm constantly focused on the temps. So it's quite frustrating not to be able to tell what's going on in there. FROM INSIDE MY HOUSE That about a hundred other things :)

I got the seeds Heather! Thak you so much! Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back to you! I thought I had sent you an email when they arrived. I'm planning the winter sowing and early starts for next year's garden already. Will start winter sowing soon!

Paula, Thank you for the offer but I don't collect gobs and gobs of seeds. I just collect a few seed heads of things I think others might like to grow and a few for myself for the next year if they are annuals. I shouldn't say this here on the garden web but I toss most seeds in the trash as I am cleaning up my gardens ( take a deep breathe, stop gasping...lol). I think this year I will collect more than usual because I feel like a cheap skate when I see some of the other seed packets in swaps...lol I have added the petunias to your gift package and again, thank you for the offer. I will pass this time though. Lisa
