Gift Baskets questions

Where would be a good place to look for unique gift baskets? Anything from fruit, foods, gifts etc. I'm looking for several people. I've given baskets I've arranged myself but to save some time I would like to purchase a few as long distant gifts. Any ideas?

This week I had a chance to try a new treat called "Moose Tracks" by Harry and David. It's popcorn coated in toffee and then some pieces also coated with chocolate. Really good! They sell online. It's a winner!

I had to order a sympathy gift basket but forgot all about this thread, unfortunately. I used Harry & David, after a few people told me it was reliable. Oh my word they are pests! I get at least 2 emails every single day. I will unsubscribe once I'm sure the basket was received and I don't need to contact them for any problems. And I expect to be inundated with catalogs. I'll use catalog choice to opt out once I have the first catalog and the mailing label. Pestering me is not the way to entice me to become a return customer.

I'm doing well on my (new theme) Winter Survival Basket. I've ordered scone mixes and some other goodies from KA Flour, went to a craft show and found "Herd Nerd" spice mix as well as an all natural product similar to Vicks Vaporub, added a variety pack of medicinal teas including Throat Coat and Echinacea Plus (my two sisters in law aren't tea fans but I figure most people will drink tea if they're feeling icky). I'll add coffee and red wine and some other fancy snack items, and a winter-themed candle. I am also doing a "self care" package for my two BFFs as we have all had our own stresses this year and we keep talking about the importance of taking time for ourselves. Their bags will include face masks (I ordered a big assortment package of face masks from Sephora that I can split up), chamomile teas, good chocolates, silly t-shirts from Gap (one says NAP and the other says Saturday. Sunday. Repeat.), and a manicure gift certificate. I'll probably end up doing some kind of assortment basket for my 83 yo dad, who is impossible to shop for. But he likes red wine, and snacks, and I can usually get him gas gift cards and grocery gift cards that he'll use.

oh yea, Harry and David. chocolate and toffee popcorn=yummy! I believe my aunt works at a Harry and David store in Oregon. I'm thinking she's pretty busy these days.

Best gift basket I ever saw was done by a little family shop that makes and sells handmade pasta. They took a really nice collander, and filled it with a selection of their fantastic pastas, gourmet sauces, imported cheese, bread, olive oil, etc. Great idea, and they looked spectacular.

As you have done them in the past, you should be able to make several without a problem For a holder, baskets, colendars, inexpensive pans, plastic bowls etc. Inside could be different drinks, coffees, pastas, sweets, note pads, stamps, pens, stuff animals (small), towels, etc.
Just a thought if not for this year, but maybe next, when stuff comes on sale.

Kat, they all caught my eye. I keep almost all the Ne stuff in the house daily. Cept the poppycock popcorn. It would be eatten in a day!
