I cleaned mine out Christmas Day, due to a Brighton purse gift from my DS. Today, I had to rearrange everything in it and get familiar where everything is.

Thank goodness, this purse had a key latch so I can put my car/house keys on it when not in use.

Every week or so, I'll clear receipts out of my wallet. The only things I keep in my purse are my wallet, cell phone, a pen, and lipstick, so there isn't much to clean out!

I don't carry much in my very small purse, so it doesn't have anything to clean out.

When ever it needs it, maybe once a month or so.

When mine can be classified as a lethal weapon, which is about every other month or so.

For years and years I kept a large basket in my bedroom, every night when I came home from work the contents of my purse was emptied into it. The next day when I dressed for work I chose a bag and then filled my purse. It was a habit that I got into and continued until I moved my office into my home.

Once a week--on payday. I don't keep much in my purse, anyway, and always buy purses with lots of pockets so I can keep things super organized, so it's not a lot of work, but I generally have a few receipts and a handful of change floating in the bottom to take out. My wallet? Nothing to clean there. I carry 2--one has large bills ($50's, $20's, 10's) and my license and medical cards--that wallet is tucked securely into a zipper pocket. The other has small bills.

I have such a small purse it cannot not get too bad. But I would say at least once a week for receipts and wrappers.

no purse, Just pockets. So everyday. I have a money clip with cards and cash in one pocket, my cell phone and keys in another. sometimes lip balm.

No, I am not a man, but I hate having to carry a purse. I work in merchandising in grocery stores. I don't like to hide my purse in the car,or try to keep and eye on it while working in the stores..... so I got used to pockets. When I do carry a purse, going out to dinner or dressed up nice with no pockets, I clean it out when I go to work the next day. Now, since I am used to NOT carrying a purse, I have been known to leave it sitting in a booth when we go out to dinner..... ooops!

Azzalea I do not carry two wallets but I have a card holder that I keep a stash of $$ in and if I need to take a credit card out for the day I put it there also~~on vaca tion I carry an extra wallet and stash it secret like with my big shopping $$ in it;)

I don't like to carry a purse at all so I want the bare minimum in it. I never understood why women carry their entire lives in their bags.

I can't go to bed at night without sorting my change. All quarters are culled to be saved. My cash always has to be sorted and I carry a little hidden stash in a separate spot.

I only carry credit cards I plan to use that day or so. No make-up other than a lip gloss. Receipts are filed ot tossed right after I get home for the night. Guess I'm OCD too.

I need to learn that I don't need every reciept and to toss them out more often. This is the biggest purse I've carried in a long time. I used to just have a wallet on a string.

I rarely carry a purse. I have one of those Vera Bradley key holders that has space for your DL and credit cards. I keep about $50. cash in there. My cell's usually in my pocket. I have a Dooney-Burke "postman" purse that I take when we go to the boats.

Everytime I change purses, several times a week. I keep asking for a new purse, DH says absolutely not. I love purses:) I quit asking, just get them myself!

After years of not carrying a purse, I am re-learning, but leave it home more than take. I carry small bills and change in a change purse, with one credit card(maybe) and ID. In my many zippered pockets of my purse, I carry CCards, Medical cards, and larger amounts of cash and whatever the day dictates. DH pays for things usually. If I take it, I usually sort it out when we get home. Nanny

I have a small wallet purse thing I saw on tv and it carries everything I need. I put it on my belt so my hands are free....I am with Lunchlady and Wildchild........I cannot figure out why women carry a ton of junk in their purses...I once picked up my daughters purse and I swear, I could barely pick it up...........
