Yes this has happened to me so this year I've tried using Actinovate as a soil and plant drench when planting. I've been very pleased with the result and look forward to seeing if the same result continues thru the years. This product appears to really give the plants a foot up on transplanting and my Actinovate transplants consistently look better faster than other transplants at the community garden. It's sold as a selective fungicide that uses bacteria to control predatory fungus in the soil. I must say it's rather expensive with a short shelf life but if gets rid of transplanting worries then it's worth it.

By the time I got home, ate and got the kids lined out for the next day, then helped Cliff with a particularly difficult assignment, it was well past midnight before I could finally get to bed. My husband is going back to college and some of his assignments seem a little confusing to him. I am able to help because I was an Office Administrator for several years and can help him understand the assignments as well as how to plan ahead because one lesson always leads into the next step. Poor dear, that assignment was a rather complicated looking research assignment. The research part turned out much simpler than it appeared, it was the summations that he ended up having difficulty with. He would write and I would proof it, then he'd have to re-write. Poor dear was so frustrated at the end and really not liking me too much, I'm sure. But it was worth it in the end because he got not only full points, but a bonus as well because he caught a concept that the instructor was sure no one would grasp yet. And yes, he earned that bonus himself, it wasn't me catching it. Well, I did, but didn't mention it until he brought it up, then discussed it with him. When I came home from work the next evening and he swung me around and kissed me, all excited because he had done so well on it, it was worth all the grumbling, mumbling and nasty looks he'd given me the night before :) as well as the very late night after I was already so wiped from work. So, anyway, despite that I was unable to join Lisa and Moni, it was worth it. I had so been looking forward to that meeting :) But knowing that Cliff did so well on his assignment because I was here to explain and discuss and proofread for him made it worth the miss. Thank you for being one of the few dog owners taking care and responsibility of all the needs of dogs not just the front end. "Canine faecal contamination and parasitic risk is serious. Many canine gastrointestinal parasites eliminate their dispersion elements (eggs, larvae, oocysts) by the faecal route." Dog poop lands on the ground and should be moved to a collection site or container below the ground. To move dog poop up into a stacking system lets parasites and other bad things have a second chance of spreading around. The issue with putting it in a stacking system is even with gloves you are touching it twice. More risk of disease. The in the ground system should have other things added than just massive amounts of dog poop. Leaves, grass clippings. A covered hole or dug in container maybe. Depending upon water sources that could be contaminated. Do your neighbors have wells? Throwing big money does not solve all problems. No container needs to be purchased. Maybe not even worms need to be purchased. You need to start slow to let the population catch up. I have heard the tick, worm medication takes 25% of years off of a dogs life. If worm medication is in the dog poop it may not help the worms. Maybe the answer you are looking for are BSFL? Dogs are not just cute, they do leave pawprints, thank you for realizing that and taking full responsibility.

I didn't hear about this. Makes me so angry when parents snuff out the lives of their children just because they have problems. They had their chance yet they deny it to their children. My friend's sister became a widow at a young age when her husband blew his brains out in their house. It was she who had to clean his brains off the walls. I remember her saying how angry she was, the way he did it was a form of betrayal/punishment. To kill oneself is bad enough but to do it in a way that inflicts extra trauma on family members is selfish and cruel. She's scarred for life partly because of the gruesome sight she had to witness. And he wanted her to see it. Sick, sick, sick.
