What's for dinner 12/16?

We've been at VA all day. Harry had four appointments beginning at 10 so we had to leave home at 8:30 this morning. Didn't get home until almost 5:00. I'm sure tired. Too much walking, plus I push Harry in a wheelchair or he wouldn't even make it to the first one. We had a break so went to TGIFriday's for lunch. I had a Jack Daniel's burger (the only JD in it is the barbecue sauce) and fries. Harry had a turkey, ham, avacado sandwich (it had other stuff on it but my mind is gone) and a cup of tortella soup. That soup was really spicy hot. The we shared a slice of vanilla bean cheesecake with which chocolate mousse on top and scattered with white chocolate shavings. What a treat! I have half my sandwich left if Harry gets hungry, but I'm still stuffed.

I had the BESTEST!

Flips Burger Boutique with my awesome grandson! So much fun!

I had my usual chorizo burger and Gs had the works: Flip burger, fries and their holiday milkshake.

There were six of us again this evening. Cheryl brought round steak and I fixed chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli, coleslaw, roasted carrots, veggie tray, yeast rolls, and Cheryl also brought a black raspberry pie and a pumpkin pie. Iced tea for me to drink. It is really blowing snow out now and getting colder. Sue

Matti, that sounds good. do you have a recipe for the onion jam? Raven, when alone no dishes is obvious..no shame in just a sandwich. I ate way to many mouthfuls of pasta! I also had salad.. I'm STUFFED... Baking Bourbon, Brown Butter Vanilla Bean Shortbread...dishwasher is already running..kinda like this baking and the dishes are already done..think I should do refrigerator cookies more often and tuck it in the fridge and/or freezer!

Sometime ago someone here posted a recipe called Little Chicken. I don't remember who it was, but I would like to thank her for it.

I have used it several times.

This evening I made it and also mixed up some Stove Top dressing to go with it. That and some snap peas and carrots made a delicious meal. And all so quick and easy.
