Merry Christmas!!!

My time is getting gobbled up like many of you here...while I am taking this moment to myself I just wanted to say Merry Christmas!

All of my friends at KT are very special to me. Your stories touch my heart, make me laugh, cry and feel like I'm not alone.

You've held my hand and gave me hugs when I really needed them the most. Yep, might be a certified nutcase that loses focus from time to time, even when seriously depressed - you kindness and generousity have made living important when I was ready to give up.

This summer I wanted to let go but you reached out and listened to me. The greatest gift I could ever have I have received from you - words of encouragement, words to kick my butt, friendship.

I am truly grateful. Thank you for one of the greatest gifts.

Many dining display cabinets have built in lighting so you need switched outlets behind the cabinets for wall switch control of them. Your husband probably does not like glare which is different than "real bright". You need to make sure the lamp (source of the light) is concealed from him over task areas that require a high level of light for food prep and clean up. The light level should be adjustable to allow for in kitchen entertaining when the prep is done. Over islands that typically means recessed, quality recessed, lighting. You can have small decorative pendants also. Do not use fixtures with the lamps at ceiling level or with lenses at ceiling level. Living room lighting around the walls would be wall washing or accent lighting on art. Usually done with recessed fixtures. A good lighting plan needs time to develop. Your lighting designer would need to learn about you, your hobbies, your collections, budget, etc. Lights up in trees aiming down is often called moonlighting. There are a few different types of fixtures. The size of the tree canopy, height, and how open the structure is helps to determine what to use, how many watts are needed. Similar info is needed for up lighting to choose appropriate fixtures.

Check out Pressurepro's page- he has a link listed for his website and how to order it. He also can give you more specifics about the product itself. From what I understand, it's a smaller company that has sold it's product primarily to contractors. Ken (pressurepros) has recently started getting the word out about it and selling it to the public. The guy knows his stuff- if you look at past threads in this forum he is quite well respected around here. That is one of the reasons why we went with the Baker's. Also, you've already prepped your deck, but in the future if you ever need a good deck cleaning product his Restore A Deck works great, too.

If you are in a financial position to support a child, then go to a sperm bank. Do not just get pregnant and not tell the guy. Would you want to be deceived or manipulated into being a parent? I think that would lack integrity and not be an ethical choice--it will also have consequences down the road. If you desire a particular man to father a child and he is willing, then see an attorney and draw up a contract, so that he will not be held accountable for child support or the financial responsibility of raising a child. Don't deceive or trick anyone into this type of responsibility, if it is something that they do not want. Think about what you will tell the child as they get older. How will you handle that? It is natural for many children to desire to know their biological parent, even if that parent is not in the picture when raising them. Children are human beings, even if not fully developed. Don't rush in to dating men to find one that wants a child. You could wind up divorced--usually not a happy outcome for children. Also ask yourself what you expect from being a mother.

It's been wonderful to hear the tone of your posts change, and to see a great example of putting forward positive action when feeling so down. I'd love to know how your driving lessons are going. I will be busy, as it draws nearer. My daughter and son in law are flying in on Saturday, and out on Tuesday.

This is the first Christmas with a son in law, and the first one since 1998 with both daughters here.

Should be a busy time.

Thank you everyone for sharing good thoughts all round.

Yes I am feeling better, I have let go completely of all ill thoughts towards my sisters and wish them good thoughts. We no longer speak to each other, maybe that is best.

It's Christmas after all. For the politically correct -

IT'S C H R I S T M A S in our culture, so get over it!

Merry Christmas Peg. Hate makes you sick. So leave what makes you mad and upset outside. Come on in here with your friends, and a hot cup of coffee/tea, and vent whenever you have to. Or just read. Someones usually got it worse, or else you take your mind off your troubles for a while, at the least. Read the funny posts. That'll make you laugh. You can always count on someone to have something funny to say.
