Stocking Stuffers, any new ideas? LOL

I need stocking stuffer ideas for the GB's. THey are boy age 10, girl age 7, boy age 6.

I am looking for something new to put in their stockings.

Every year they get a Hallmark ornament, that is a must. This year the only thing I've bought is a smaller hand held game.

They usually get a new toothbrush, underwear, a couple candy things, a movie, book, card games. The youngest boy will go for little Matchbox cars etc, but the oldest wouldn't give a hoot about them and of course the Princess would think Santa was nuts if she got something like that! LOL

Looking for ideas for kids only. Haven't done adults kids stockings for probably 5 years.

Art supplies, kits for models - check Hobby Lobby or Hobby shop, cute socks, puzzle books, puzzles, girl--small baby set like baby, play pen, etc have seen some sets at KMart and Walmart. Check also places like Ace Hardware (flashlite) drug stores etc.

I always put a Slinky in my daughter's stocking. Even when she was grown. Don't do them anymore, but I'll give it some thought. Sometimes the same thing every year is a good thing.

Somewhere I found a small headed rake, short handled too--maybe it was a child size--but it works if I rake beneath plants in the flower beds, without tearing up the leaves. The handle telescoped down, but somehow I jammed it open, now cannot close it for compact storage. I used spray hot pink florescent on the handles of my tools for the reason I dropped them and then tripped over them, or forgot to take them in and they disappeared. I also went through a time of spraying all my plant stems and pots, because we had a "plant thief" who, when caught, revealed her plan to begin her own nursery. It affected my choice of planting sites, with cheaper shrubs going in the front yard near the street. I love the Felco pruners, lost a few, replaced them, found the old ones, and now have a generous supply including one left handed version. They have red, but red sort of disappears in the grass, orange would be much better IMHO. Or black/yellow stripes. Who was it on here who recommended the digging forks, and I got one, then in the process discovered a really neat wide hoe which was good for making trenches for irrigation pipe, about 4-6 inches wide, and about 6 deep. Great long handles. And a great digging shovel with space to put your foot on either side, fairly good price from EasyDig.com And I like Lee Valley Tools in general.

I ordered a card game called Game of Phones that you play w your cell phone in a group. It is described as sort of a combo cellular scavenger hunt and Apples to Apples. I also ordered a mug with a map on it. It comes w markers to fill in the countries (or another version of the mug has states) you have visited. You fire it in your oven. You can add more later and fire it again.

We do that too!!! Christmas morning breakfast activity!!! I made the mistake of getting a lego advent calendar, last year. I thought I was covered for about 5 years. Turns out you can't make all the builds at the same time!!! This year I got mini felting critters. Do you have a link to yours? Never heard of it. Looks fab! We get one in our Easter baskets too so I will be looking for animals for Easter.

How about a disposable camera and a small scrapbook?

My 7 yo dd loves those little books that are sort of like a diary, but you fill in the blanks about your friends.

I just bought stocking stuffers for my 2 GD's. They are 8 and 5. My daughter recommended hair barretts, flashlights, little notebooks and I got them each a new pen and they had little game books with word search and other assorted games like you do in the car. I also got them ornaments. they also each got a small assortment of bath gels etc. I bought almost everything in the Walgreen's drugstore! All the suggestions so far have been great. In the past I've also put in lip balm, mittens, socks and underwear. A nice silver dollar or a 2 dollar bill is always fun too. Oh and I got them chocolate candy shaped like a big penny at the William-Sanoma store!

you're gonna lol, but dh buys everyone a scratch ticket (in our case a couple) and even the smallest kid gets that out first to see if they won anything...(our lottery stuff is related to the school system)

we've cut back on items as everyone contributes something (18 of us) and if gma and papa get carried away we hear about it! i used to love the old fashion fruit, nuts, and stuff, but with allergies that's a no no, sigh...

Stocking stuffers are my biggest holiday stress thing. I never know what to put in them.

Here is what they usually get:
Disposable razors
Travel size shave creams, toothpastes, etc
Socks
Underwear
Candy
Movie tickets
Microwave popcorn
Beef Jerky
