My MIL, bless her heart, is obsessed with Charlie Brown. Each year I get her a CB ornament. Last year we sent her a DVD of the Christmas Special, and a DVD player, so she could enjoy it any time she wished.

Now she's a bit confused about the characters; she keeps forgetting who is who (whom?) and insists she never saw "that little yellow dog" before. We told her to look closely, he's a bird, named "Woodstock," and he's always been one of the main players.

Is there an encyclopedia-type book that describes all the CB characters and possibly has a list of all the television programs and comic strips Charles Schultz produced? I know the Calvin and Hobbs comics come in large books now; is there something similar for Charlie Brown?

I've been searching eBay, but time is running out. I do like to encourage her exploration of the world around her and Charlie Brown's Christmas simply makes hers shine.
