I'll credit the Wonderful Life omission to a brain fart, LOL Although, Ed Asner seems to be in a lot of Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel, and he isn't listed either, LOL The kids here were having a great time playing a "heads up" game that was a .99 app. for the smart phone! Did anyone see the Hallmark movie Banner 4th of July? The movie was filmed in North Bay Ontario and the house they filmed in was my cousin Joe's house. My cousin and his wife and their dogs were put up in hotel while they filmed the movie. I never got to see it because we don't have the Hallmark Channel.

I have a dear friend who watches the holiday moves as part of her pining away for what she thinks if the perfect life with the perfect holiday. I wish for her that she'd spend more time in the real world so that she could make her own happy ending instead of waiting for Hallmark to deliver it to her door. I enjoy holiday movies, but I do wish the holidays were not so stretched out like they are now. Makes them seem less special.

This was an episode of Amazing Stories, a TV show from Steven Spielberg that lasted about 2 years. I've been looking for it but haven't seen it this year. It is my hands-down favorite Christmas - themed broadcast. It stars Douglas Seale as Santa, Pat Hingle as Sheriff Horace Smyvie & Gabriel Damon as Bobby. Wiuthout going into too much detail, Santa trips a burglar alarm while delivering gifts in a small town and is locked up in jail with three drunken department store type 'Santa's. Christmas would be doomed without young Bobby's efforts in getting Santa out. The mean sheriff also has a change of heart at the end. Does this sound famailar? Have you seen it?
